FARMINGTON HILLS, MICHIGAN, September 2021 – IRISO USA, INC. (IRISO) will present proprietary connector technology at The North American Battery Show September 14-16, 2021.
Many say traditional connectors have their limitations. As technology advances in all industries, including automobility, how can those connectors live up to tougher conditions these situations now require?
IRISO has taken this challenge head-on and will be showcasing its proprietary Z-Move™ connector technology.
This connector solution has become a favorite among top OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers who are looking for ways to increase the longevity of their electronics while ensuring a secure connection. Z-Move™ technology utilizes a unique, tri-directional floating structure that allows the connector to move while maintaining a fixed contact point. This fixed point not only mitigates misalignment but also maintains a proper connection while the product is manipulated by outside stressors.
The unique selling point is the tri-directional floating capability. Most connectors only allow for movement in the X and Y directions, however, this technology allows for X,Y and Z movement making it the optimal choice for harsh or unpredictable conditions.
IRISO encourages its customers to test this connector technology to its limits and offers complimentary vibration simulation and testing to desired specifications. Currently, IRISO connectors with Z-Move™ technology have been successfully deployed in converters, inverters, battery management systems, and various other powertrain applications.
IRISO has committed to keeping innovation at the forefront of its design philosophy. To see this, and other inventive solutions, be sure to stop by booth #605 at the Suburban Collection Showplace September 14-16, 2021.
